How to choose auto parts products
When we need to replace car parts, we often face an important issue: the balance between price and quality.
When choosing the right parts, we want to get high-quality performance without breaking the bank. But among the many types of parts, which ones are the most worthwhile to invest in? Which ones can save you some budget without compromising the performance and safety of your car?
Types of Auto Parts
Among the vehicle parts, we can divide them into several types: genuine parts (also known as original parts), OE parts from supporting factories, brand parts, high-imitation parts, and dismantled parts. Simply put, except for genuine parts, we can assume that all others are aftermarket parts when we consume. The repair shop says that the dismantled parts are 100% original. The rougher the packaging of the product, the more likely it is a fake.
original parts:
Original parts, with original packaging, original OEM number, 100% authentic, usually from 4S stores or direct stores of a certain car series.
parts from supporting factories:
Original parts, no original packaging, no original OEM number, 100% authentic, generally found in 4S stores or direct stores of a certain car series. The difference from genuine parts is that they have no original packaging (inside and outside).
Brand parts:
It may be original or aftermarket parts. If it does not have original packaging, it may have its own packaging. It does not have original OEM number. It is usually found in the car series’ direct stores. The chance of appearing in 4S stores is high, but they are all in a naked state without packaging.
High imitation parts
Aftermarket parts, with high-imitation packaging and high-imitation numbers, 100% quality, usually found in 4S stores and direct stores of certain car series
Disassembled car parts
Original parts, no packaging, no OEM number, mainly depends on the source channel. Some dismantled car parts are removed from some relatively new accident cars or replacement cars, which are basically equivalent to second-hand original parts. Such accessories are very cost-effective; while some dismantled car parts may be refurbished parts removed from damaged parts of scrapped cars or accident cars. The quality of such accessories is not reliable.
Remanufactured parts
We implement high-tech repair and transformation of original waste products, conduct remanufacturing engineering design based on performance failure analysis, life assessment and other analyses, and adopt a series of related advanced manufacturing technologies to ensure that the quality of remanufactured products reaches or exceeds that of new products.

Share some common rules for your reference
1.Try to buy key parts from supporting manufacturers
For example, Toyota’s radiators are mostly made by Japan’s Kosei Corporation, and most of the electrical parts are made by Denso. Most of SAIC-GM’s headlights are made by Koito. With these experiences, once the warranty is over, you can purchase the corresponding parts manufacturers’ products. Taobao has many parts distributors, and the products they provide are all genuine. Buying such products can avoid buying fakes or paying high prices. If you don’t know where your car parts are matched, you can consult several popular car forums, and you can also check the corresponding numbers of your car parts. Generally speaking, you will rarely buy the wrong ones by buying according to the numbers (most cars have a unique 17-digit VIN code).
2.For wearing parts, try to buy branded parts
The wearing parts defined here include: brake discs, clutch discs, release bearings, four filters, wipers, spark plugs, etc. These products are often damaged and replaced, and are frequently purchased and consumable products. If you are not sure about the corresponding supporting factory for your car, you can directly purchase the brand.

3.Engine Oil
Motor oil is a low-profit product in the auto parts industry, especially for distribution-type agents. The markup will not exceed 10% of the gross profit. Once the price is too low, it can be said with certainty that the motor oil is fake (except for special channels with small quantities). If you buy motor oil, please try to buy it from an online store authorized by the manufacturer, or from a local motor oil agent. There is no other way. Seriously remind you that fake motor oil has more than just carbon deposits.

The most important thing when we buy accessories is not to be greedy for cheapness. The price of parts manufacturers sets the lower limit of the product. When it comes to the purchase of spare parts, it can definitely be described as taking advantage of small gains and suffering big losses.
