Outside the lens is the main decorative frame + signal light semi-assembly, which includes the daytime running light and turn signal functions. Continue to disassemble and look at the optical solution.
The semi-assembly is mainly composed of three parts. The outermost one is the main decorative frame, which is visually three-color injection molding. The decorative part is black sheet + leather texture. The daytime running light is scattering material + a very narrow transparent sheet. The turn signal light is a transparent sheet with optical patterns.
I have to say that the guys at this lamp factory really like the snap-on design. The three parts are assembled together with a bunch of visible and concealed buckles, and they are also interlocked at three angles of xyz. The editor was sweating profusely while taking them apart, and finally had to use all his might to force them apart. It really highlights their solidity.
The middle part is a combination of a light guide bracket and a turn signal reflector bowl, and because a small part of the styling surface is left, it is partially aluminum-plated. The daytime running light part is illuminated by two light guides on one side, and then the light is emitted by the scattering material part of the main decorative frame. In order to make it as uniform as possible, the two light guides correspond to 6 and 2 LEDs respectively. A light board is installed at the bottom of the reflector bowl, with a total of 14 amber LEDs on it.
The last piece is relatively simple, black piece + leather texture.
Next, let’s look at the main light source. There is a black decorative frame on the outside of the special-shaped lens, which also uses a buckle design, and is also a bunch of visible buckles and hidden buckles.
The high and low beams are an integrated lens, not two lenses as the editor guessed. A bracket is wrapped around the outside of the lens. The main function of this bracket is to install the fan and connect several ball head clips on the lamp housing.
In addition to a few screws, this bracket is also designed with several clips. Moreover, the fan of Delta is designed with screw holes as a standard part, but this light is still fixed with clips!!! The editor was so angry that he flipped the table!
Inside the lamp housing is a fixed ball head and two stepper motors. This means that the vertical and horizontal adjustment of the light type are automatic. There are many harness protection brackets inside the headlight. Because the lamp body itself is very compact and the lens is very large, in order to avoid the risk of the harness being worn, the harness is hidden as much as possible.
Finally, only the lens assembly is left. Overall, the opening of this lamp in the Z direction is very narrow, and the internal space is very compact, which makes it very painful to disassemble. Of course, it also tests the design level of the structural engineers.
